THE POSITION

DESCRIPTION OF WORK
As a Roadway Programs Technician 1, you will perform essential technical duties to efficiently review, analyze, and develop maintenance operations aligned with management objectives and departmental policies within Indiana County. Y ou will play a vital role in analyzing work plans ; ensuring the program remains balanced ; and securing all necessary labor, materials, equipment, and funds for successful project execution. Your ability to swiftly adjust work plans in response to changing circumstances will be key to our success. You will diligently monitor foreman payrolls for accuracy, particularly concerning materials and equalization. Your contributions will drive our operations forward with confidence and precision.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
+ Full-time employment
+ Work hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
+ Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Indiana.
+ Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
+ One year of experience as a Technical Assistant;or
+ One year of experience in analysis of data utilized in planning and scheduling of work, materials and equipment and graduation from high school or GED equivalent;or
+ An Associate's Degree in a field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or other closely related program;or
+ Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
+ Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
