Your work environment at EXP
EXP is currently seeking a talented Roadway Engineer for our Rome or Atlanta GA Office. While working under limited supervision, the candidate will find opportunities on a wide range of projects involving traffic and safety studies, multi-modal roadway planning, highway design, site civil design, design review and construction oversight.
What a day at EXP has in store for you
Assist in performing engineering design tasks for roadway and traffic projects from conceptual design to final design. Assist in developing civil design of multi-modal transportation projects per AASHTO and applicable design standards. Develop plans, specifications, quantities, and cost estimates. Assist in preparing final bid packages, design-build packages, and bridging documents. Assists in preparing reports, plans, and studies. Assists in developing proposals, presentations, and reports. Performs other related duties as assigned.
What your experience looks like
Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering. Preferably in civil or transportation. Basic knowledge of Microstation and InRoads softwares. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel. EIT or ability to obtain within one year.
