Salary: 32.54-48.80 USD Facility: Trinity OBGYN Buffalo Delaware Shift: Shift 1 Status: Full Time FTE: 1.000000 Bargaining Unit: Trinity Medical Exempt from Overtime: Exempt: No Work Schedule: Days Hours: Mon through Fri 8a -4p Summary: The Registered Nurse OBGYN is responsible for the provision of professional nursing care in an office setting. Serves as a liaison between patients and MD/DO. Must independently determine acute vs. non-acute situations and schedules patient appointments based on assessment while maintaining timely flow of patients based on acuity. Communicates medical dispositions when directed by the Physician. Responsibilities: EDUCATION + Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. + Current New York State Licensure + Current BLS certification + Current ACLS, or completion required within 3 months of employment EXPERIENCE + One (1) to three (3) years current medical/surgical nursing experience required, experience in OBGYN is preferred KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY + Possess a problem-solving approach and apply good judgment + Thorough knowledge of medical terminology, office procedures and pertinent equipment is necessary + OBGYN System knowledge including anatomy, physiology, diseases, treatment and medications is preferred + Ability to work independently and as part of a team + Must be responsible and self-motivated + Possess organization, written & verbal communication skills and time management skills + Must be able to prioritize work + Knowledge of standard practices, rules, and regulations related to nursing + Ability to keep accurate records + Competent organizational skills + Ability to handle stressful situations + Ability to meet deadlines + Excellent interpersonal skills + Must demonstrate the ability to communicate effectively with all members of the healthcare team, patients, and community representatives + Ability to evaluate acute/ non-acute situations + Possess a problem-solving approach and apply good judgment + Transition of Care REQNUMBER: 34377
