**Perioperative RN – Patient Advocacy and Care Coordination** The primary role of the Perioperative RN is to advocate for patients, ensuring their well-being throughout operative or invasive procedures. This nurse plans, coordinates, delivers, and evaluates nursing care, working closely with other perioperative professionals to meet each patient’s unique needs. Using clinical expertise, judgment, and reasoning skills grounded in the nursing process, the Perioperative RN provides comprehensive care that addresses the physical, psychological, and spiritual needs of patients undergoing surgery or other invasive treatments. **Minimum Qualifications:** + Current RN licensure in Oregon + BLS certification (must be obtained within 3 months of hire and kept current) + Operating room experience required + Scrub experience preferred + Perioperative nursing certification preferred **Essential Job Functions:** + Follows and completes all assignments provided by the charge nurse. + Assesses and ensures Operating Room readiness, including table positioning, supply availability, and equipment readiness for various procedures. + Develops and monitors the patient’s care plan in the operative setting, practicing aseptic technique, maintaining sterile fields, and addressing any breaks in technique among team members. + Promotes patient safety by following operative policies, including patient identification, site verification, proper positioning, and accurate counting of sponges, instruments, and sharps; addresses any deficiencies promptly. + Holds self, physicians, and team members accountable for maintaining a safe environment for patients. + Documents accurately and meets all regulatory and hospital standards. + Participates in responsible resource management within healthcare. + Assumes responsibility for clinical competency and ongoing professional development. + Performs additional duties as assigned. **Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:** + Demonstrates sound judgment, patience, and professionalism in all situations + Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, stressful environment + Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively + Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and electronic medical records software + Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written + Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and creative thinking skills + Flexibility to work varied shifts **Pay Details:** $84,000.00 to $114,000.00 per year Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to https://www.adecco.com/en-us/candidate-privacy The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: + The California Fair Chance Act + Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance + Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers + San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance
