RN Resident - Medical Surgical

Providence is looking for a Registered Nurse Resident to join Providence Newberg Medical Center in Portland, OR.  A RN Resident within Providence Health and Services is defined as a new graduate nurse with up to 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.  This posting represents one full-time, DAY shift position (7am-7:30pm, 3, 12 hour shifts per week) within the Medical Surgical Unit.  

Providence Portland Medical Center is accredited as a Practice Transition Program by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation in Practice Transition Programs.

Required Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited nursing program Upon hire: Oregon Registered Nurse License Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Graduation from an accredited nursing program and is newly licensed with 12 months of experience or less

Preferred Qualifications:

Upon hire: National Certification in area of specialty, unless otherwise indicated
