 BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking experienced Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate Seasonal/float team that services all of our hospitals. 

BayCare offers a variety of assignment options including: 

System Pool offers 13-26 week assignment at one hospital- unit provided schedule (3x12 hour shifts)- block scheduling not available - no mileage requirementSeasonal Pool offers 13-26 week assignment at one hospital - unit provided schedule (3x12 hour shifts) - block scheduling not available - MILEAGE ELIGIBILITY-MUST LIVE GREATER THAN 100 MILES FROM FACILITIES

Region 3:  Winter Haven Hospital - Winter Haven, FL; Bartow Regional Medical Center - Bartow, FL; South Florida Baptist Hospital - Plant City, FL

The Registered Nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards. Delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team.

· The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter-disciplinary care providers in developing and assisting in plan of care. 

· Organizes and prioritizes and updates plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and significant others in the departments 

· Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment. 

· The Registered Nurse performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned.

Requirements:

· Registered Nurse license 

· BLS is required. 

· ACLS(AHA) is required 

· Associates Degree in Nursing 

· 18 months RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting is required 

· 2 years current RN experience in an acute Med/Surg/Tele setting is strongly preferred 

· Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred

· Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts

· Must be able to pass Tele test during orientation

· Flexibility

Shift Hours: Nights

Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am

Weekend Work:  Every Other

On Call:  No
