80% FTE, Monday – Friday with rotating start times between 6:30am – 9:00am. 1 weekday call every other week and weekend call every 4th weekend. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.  You will work at University Hospital in Madison, WI.

We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to:

Provide care for patients during GI and Bronchoscopy procedures including the administration of sedation. Be an integral part of a surgical team that performs multispecialty procedures. Assume the overall responsibility for management of the operating room to which you are assigned.

Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred Work Experience 6 months of relevant clinical nursing experience Required Specific to EP Lab- Previous moderate sedation experience Required Additional years of relevant clinical nursing experience Preferred Prior involvement in clinical procedures in area of specialty, including successful work or involvement in other hospital-wide project work Preferred Experience in an academic medical setting Preferred Specific to Gastro/Endo & Generations - Previous moderate sedation experience Preferred Licenses & Certifications Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state(s) where patients are receiving care or may work as eligible per state licensing regulations Upon Hire Required Basic Life Support/CPR Upon Hire Required Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months Required Certification in area of specialty Preferred Our Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion UW Health is committed to being a diverse, equitable, inclusive and anti-racist workplace and is an Equal Employment Opportunity, Affirmative Action employer.
