Overview

 Lakeside Hospital a collaboration between CHI St. Luke’s Health and a team of specialized physicians— focused on cardiology and interventional cardiology sports medicine orthopedics including total joint replacement and spine care—in The Woodlands community. As the only hospital in Montgomery County to offer sports medicine as a major service line Lakeside Hospital provides inpatient and outpatient care including diagnostic imaging including MRI CT and nuclear medicine.

10 hour shifts (start time as early as 5:30 am)Some on call hours after a normal 10 hour shift may be required


Responsibilities

In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.

Pre-Op Nurse Role:

Patience and focus to constantly support the perioperative departmentProven ability to think and react quickly while providing education and surgical related questionsProficiency with providing detailed instructions and completing all surgical consents and processesPassion for excellence in delivering quality care

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: Associates Degree in Nursing (Bachelors in Nursing Preferred)Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas BLS with skills demonstration1 year nursing expereince required

Experience Desired:

One (1) year of perioperative related expereince desired

Two (2) years of Critical Care experience Perferred
