Responsibilities

In this role, your patients will be critically ill or unstable following extensive injury, surgery, or life threatening diseases. Our nurses wear many hats daily from patient advocate to family advisor and, in some cases, even friend.

Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse Role:

Patience and focus to constantly monitor high acuity settingProven ability to think and react quickly in critical situations Comprehensive observation skills, ventilator care, & pre and post surgical care skillsPassion for excellence in delivering quality care

Our PRN work requires

•6 12-hour shifts per month

•1 Saturday & 1 Sunday shift per month

•1 summer & 1 winter holiday per year


Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

One year experience as an RN

Associates Degree in Nursing or Diploma

Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas

BLS with skills demonstration

NRP and STBL in 6 months

Preferred Qualifications:

Two or more years of RN NICU Level III experience

Bachelors in Nursing Preferred
