Provides coordination/case management for mechanical heart patients. Responsible for assignments involving technical and clinical support to include ventricular assist device preparation, device readiness, implant period management, device monitoring, post implant analysis and clinical training. Shares 24-hour responsibility for mechanical heart follow-up, including coordination of hospital admissions and monitoring clinical progress. Effectively uses transplant committee as an opportunity for care conference regarding difficult cases. Provides professional, peer and patient education and participates in the development of patient education programs.

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire 5 years of Acute, Ambulatory or Clinic nursing experience.Preferred Qualifications:
