Reports to the Imaging Supervisor. This job functions in a dynamic and varied role; the major goal is to provide quality nursing care to patients in Radiology: job performance requires the use of assessment, communication, teaching, leadership and management skills; insures patient privacy and dignity; may function in the following areas: special procedures, general diagnostics, computerized tomography, nuclear medicine and ultrasound. + Assesses the physical, psychosocial, spiritual and growth and development dimensions of the patient. + Plans patient care utilizing the nursing and medical diagnosis. + Implements nursing plan of care on assigned patients. + Evaluates patient status, nursing interventions and appropriateness of the nursing care plan. + Communicates and documents patient care activities, needs and assessments. Valid Alabama RN lice nse. + Prefer five years critical care experience. Must complete ACLS within the first year in position. Appropriate nursing competencies are maintained
