RN Emergency Department - Casual

Description:Emergency RN is responsible and accountable for the overall nursing care management of an assigned group of patients. Collaborates with the Department Manager and other members of the health care team to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Position Purpose:  Registered Nurse will work in the Emergency department at Grand Haven Hospital.

What you will work:

Casual, as needed12 hour shifts

What you will need:

Current RN licensure in the State of Michigan, BSN preferredCurrent BLS certification.ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.TNCC certification within 12 months of hire.

What you will do:

Collect and document comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health and the situationIdentify expected outcomes for a plan individualized for the patient and the situationCollaborate with the person, family significant others and caregivers as appropriate to implement the planEvaluate and document patient’s progress
