Position Requirements:

Associates Degree of Nursing required Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred2 years of psychiatric or behavioral health RN experience and counseling in a clinical setting requiredPsychiatric/Mental Health RN certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) required Licensure: Active and unrestricted RN license in any of the 50 states accepted

Core Duties:

Perform physical exams to behavioral health patients while also providing education about health promotion Administer prescribed medications and apply nursing interventions as ordered.
• Direct and supervise care provide by other healthcare professionals. Accountable for making patient care assignments based on the scope of practice and skill level of assigned personnel Recognize patients at risk for harm to self and/or others or experiencing adverse signs and symptoms that require a fast response. Ability to assess and de-escalate life threatening situations and appropriately coordinate living save interventions
