Primary Position Responsibilities + Facilitate and Coordinate Total Patient Care + Documentation of Care + Maintain Professional Development + Education of patient and family + Patient Advocate + Maintain Patient Safety Work Contact Group (Internal/External) + HMC employees, Providers, Patients and Family, Visitors & Vendors Reporting Relationships + Reports to (position): + Nurse Director + Supervises (position(s): + Indirect supervision of Patient Care Assistant, Patient Care Technician, Nurse Intern, Unit Coordinator, Patient Safety Assistant Qualifications Minimum Education: + Required: + All hires after September 1, 2020 are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in nursing. + Preferred: Minimum Years of Experience (Amount, Type and Variation): + Required: + None + Preferred: + One year of acute care nursing experience. License, Registry or Certification: + Required: + Current NJ RN licensure. American Heart Association CPR, ACLS certification. + Preferred: + PCCN or related specialty certification. Knowledge, Skills and/or Abilities: + Required: + Complete Critical Care, Vents and stroke training within one year of hire. Basic arrhythmia Interpretation completed within 6 months of hire. + Preferred: + None
