Responsibilities The Patient Placement RN reports to the Corporate Director of Patient Placement and is part of the Bed Control team. The Patient Placement RN’s role as a part of this team requires not only technical but clinical knowledge, requiring extensive knowledge of UFHCF patient placement protocols, the McKesson/HBOC patient processing system, and flow of information related to moving patients through the facility in an efficient manner. Working knowledge of hospital setting, level of care placement, patient diagnosis, and critical thinking skills as a nurse is required, as well as excellent communication skills, tact and patience. Qualifications Education Associate’s Degree in Nursing Licensure/Certification/Registration RN licensure BLS Special Skills/Qualifications/Additional Training/Experience Required Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
