Job Posting Title: RN, Sports Medicine Clinic (part-time) Location: Frisco - Ambulatory Surgical Center Additional Posting Details: Monday - Friday (part-time) 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Job Description: Duties/Responsibilities + Prescribe, delegate, and coordinate the nursing care provided for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, school age, and adolescents + Professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients, for a designated time frame, and provides quality care to these patients + Complete pre-surgical tasks, including, but not limited to, health history, surgical clearances, and communication with anesthesia team + Communicate with patients and families by responding to voicemails and patient portal messages + All other responsibilities as assigned at the discretion of the manager + Flexibility in work hours (20 hours per week total - days and times may be adjusted based on team needs) + Ability to work 100% of the time on site Required Skills/Abilities + Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required + Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Texas + 1 or more years of experience as an RN required + Pediatric nursing experience preferred + American Heart Association BLS certification required + American Heart Association PALS certification required, or within 6 months of hire. + Demonstrate advanced and mature critical thinking and assessment skills At Scottish Rite for Children, we work together with the common goal of helping give children back their childhood.
