Summary The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) - Perioperative is responsible for the initial and ongoing education and competency assessment and evaluation process within the assigned units (OR, SPD, & IR). The Perioperative CNE assists Nursing Services and provides programs and training to enhance the development of technical, psychomotor, and critical thinking domains. The Perioperative CNE will maintain clinical competency in order to best assess and assist the needs of the units assigned. Education and Experience + Minimum Required Education: Bachelors of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Education + Preferred Education: Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Education + Experience: 3+ years in an inpatient OR setting, hospital nursing facility in a specialty clinical area Certificates, Licenses, Registrations Applicant must be licensed to work as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia. BLS Required. CNOR preferred.
