1. Purpose of the job

The RMG Promotions and Innovation Manager is responsible for generating transformative insights, identifying new opportunities, and developing proposals to unlock value. As a commercially savvy and insights-driven professional, they collaborate with cross-functional teams to create strong, holistic RMG plans that drive sustainable and profitable growth for HEINEKEN.

 

2. Key responsibilities

Support RMG strategy & priority initiatives design and value growth delivery in line with OpCo commercial strategy (incl. KPIs & action plans) – Leverage cutting edge analytics (see below) to identify value growth opportunities. Support RMG Manager in preparing commercial scenario’s leveraging (advanced) analytics, category insights and supporting research – Propose and ensure clear execution guidelines, across the RMG levers (with Sales and marketing) to secure perfect execution – Prepare monthly OpCo RMG Councils with RMG OpCo Manager and key stakeholders. Drive RMG opportunity identification for the OpCo in collaboration with cross-functional teams (Finance, Category, Sales, Marketing) and track RMG performance – Apply global methodology in identifying Price, PPA, Promo, Mix, D&TT opportunities (across on and off trade channels) – Assess on a regular basis Brand/Customer/Channel performance and identify key levers and actions to improve – Track competitor and leading CPG companies’ RMG strategies (including analysis/decomposition of Rev/HL drivers) – Identify areas of opportunity for HEINEKEN and create proposals on how to implement. Support other functions to include RMG insights in decisions by providing upskilling and business case support – Run function specific training programs in the OpCo – Provide insights through performance dashboards (e.g., Cockpit if available) – Support Sales Teams to articulate clear sales arguments from RMG insights and plan

3. Job Requirements

3.1.   Education and competencies

Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.

3.2.   Experience

5-10 years proven experience in brand marketing, corporate strategy, large project management, pricing strategy, portfolio optimisation. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive actionable insights. Excellent understanding of market dynamics, pricing methodologies, and revenue management best practices. Proficient in using revenue management tools Strong business and financial acumen and the ability to align revenue management strategies with overall business objectives. Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment. Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving revenue growth and improving operating margin.
