Risk & Resilience Engineering Intern (Available June 2025)

We’re a thriving and growing organisation which offers you many possibilities to shape a better world, and your future. **The opportunity** • Undertake analyses using engineering first principles and probabilistic approaches to solve our clients' most difficult challenges in the built environment. • Support qualitative and quantitative risk assessments for one or more hazards (earthquakes, flood, sea level rise, wildfire, wind, heat, climatechange, etc.). • Support the development of risk mitigation, climate adaptation, and resilience strategies for buildings and infrastructure projects as well as for cities and communities. • Work on defined tasks under the close supervision of a senior engineer. • Support the development of project deliverables including reporting, enabling digital platforms, and communicating findings to clients and stakeholders. **We encourage candidates who have interest/aptitude in any of the following:** · Seismic engineering, including performance-based assessment philosophies. · Wind engineering and extreme environmental loading. · Climate science, climate change models for physical climate risk impact analysis, and/or climate downscaling. · Risk and resilience assessment and design across multiple natural hazards. · Engineering risk mitigation, climate adaptation, resiliency strategies for buildings and infrastructure **Is this role right for you?** We’re looking for graduates who are curious and ready to evolve how you think and work.
