FNZ Markets EU is a pan-European Equities Broker and Global custodian. Based in Stockholm, Sweden, FNZ has 15 employees handling client flows on global markets.
The duties of the Risk officer for FNZ Markets EU consist of:
Establishment and further development of the 2nd line risk function at the Sweden branch of an EU based regulated CRR institute as part of the risk team located at Munich headquarters
Identification, managing and reporting of relevant risks of the branch business lines resulting from international brokerage & custody business; support central risk management to integrate branch risks in the relevant calculation models.
Further development of necessary risk governance, processes and internal controls according to the group’s framework.
Perform key control testing, support BIA and BCP as well as process modelling.
Assessment and calculation of the branch risks in projects, new product and business process as well as in the strategic planning and forecast (capital and liquidity).
Support but also monitor 1st line branch business lines regarding appropriate risk management and mitigation actions as well as process documentation.
Contact and expert for risk and regulatory relevant topics of the branch.
The role is spanning across Financial and Non-Financial risks, including risk management regarding IT services.
Experience Required
Degree in economics, business or banking, further training in risk management is desirable.
IT skills in the MS Office package and risk and process modelling systems.
Good knowledge of processes and controls in the international securities business.
Broad experience in risk management in a bank or investment firm, experience in a 2nd line function of a brokerage and custody business area is desirable.
Good knowledge of the applicable European regulatory framework as well as the relevant national requirements of headquarter and branch.
Good knowledge of the Nordic and if possible, of the European banking market.
All communications at FNZ are in English. Additional language skills are an advantage.
