Risk Manager, Catalog Integrity

To deliver on this reputation of trust, the Discovery Experience team is responsible for identifying and mitigating the risk of negative impact on Customer Trust caused by the inappropriate manipulation of product information to gain competitive advantage against trustworthy Selling Partners. The Discovery Experience team is looking for a Risk Manager II to drive initiatives to closure while improving our processes. As a successful member of this team would include proficiency conducing deep dives, data analysis, project management and drafting process related documents. This position requires excellent written communication skills, high attention to detail, and strong organizational and some project management capabilities. The risk manager will be expected to handle day-to-day issues (constantly thinking about how to invent and simplify to improve), but will also be expected to strategize on longer-term, program-wide initiatives. Key job responsibilities A Risk Manager's main focus is to lead deep dive requests, analyze quality data, abuse rate variations, and risk indicators across the Amazon catalog to report on findings. Additionally, reporting specific root-causes and recommendations for individual and collective performance improvements in decision accuracy and abuse rates. Collaborate with partner teams and stakeholders to advise and support the product managers, site leaders, operation managers, business analysts and machine learning teams in identifying, defining and executing various projects. Drive weekly meetings to review metrics, discuss procedural changes to identify root causes and create action plans to address. Basic Qualifications - 4+ years of compliance program management, legal, governance, audit, risk/loss prevention, or equivalent experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience handling confidential information Preferred Qualifications - 3+ years of program requirements definition and data and metrics leveraging to drive improvements experience - Professional auditing qualification, or similar risk or compliance credentials - Experience with SQL and Excel Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
