We are seeking a Risk Management Student for our North American Headquarters (NAHQ) in Edmonton, Alberta, that is available for 4-8 months starting in May 2025. This position will be under the direct supervisor of the Corporate Risk Manager.

 

As a Risk Management Student and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:

Assists the PCL Risk Managers in supporting our operating team's insurance needs. Populates the risk management database. Works with Client Services representatives within our internal brokerage Researches, develops and implements online library for educational resources. Supports on data analytics. What you will bring to the role: Preferably enrolled in and completed minimum one year of post-secondary in a Risk Management or insurance related degree/diploma program. Ability to work alone or as part of a team. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel & PowerPoint). Experience using databases. Preferable working knowledge with data visualization software such as PowerBI. Excellent organizational skills. Good verbal and written communication skills
