The Risk Management Analyst supports the global Corporate Risk & Insurance department This position involves assisting with risk financing and captive management, claim management, contract review, and corporate risk management initiatives across the global organization. This role includes collaborating with internal departments across the entire organization as well as external partners (brokers, insurers, TPAs).
Responsibilities• Risk Financing and Captive Management: Assist in the management of risk financing strategies and captive insurance programs to optimize cost and coverage across all lines of property & casualty insurance globally.
• Claims Management: Oversee the administration of insurance claims across various lines, including automobile liability and workers' compensation. Collaborate with internal and external partners to ensure efficient claims processing and resolution.
• Contract Review: Assists with the review of contracts to identify and mitigate potential risks. Provide recommendations to ensure compliance with corporate risk management policies.
• Corporate Risk Management Initiatives: Support the development and implementation of risk management initiatives across the organization. This involves the development of relationships within the organization to assist in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risk through various
programs such as the global Business Continuity Program.
• Data Analysis and Reporting: Compile and analyze underwriting information, loss data, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Prepare and present reports to senior management to inform decision-making.
• Insurance Procurement: Assist with the renewal and procurement of various lines of insurance, including property, liability, and specialty coverages. Ensure accurate and timely submission of underwriting information.
• Policy Management: Maintain and organize all insurance policies, endorsements, and related documentation. Review insurance quotes, binders, and policies for accuracy and compliance.
• Audit and Compliance: Coordinate annual audits of insurance programs and loss control visits by carriers. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies.
• Training and Development: Provide training and support to internal stakeholders on risk management practices and insurance-related matters.
• Bachelor's degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years in the insurance and risk management industry preferred.
• CPCU, CRM, ARM, or other insurance designation preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Excel and other data analysis tools.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
