Hello Future Risk Head (WesBank)

WesBank Motor Retail is looking for a Risk Head who would be an Executive Member reporting directly to the WesBank CEO. The successful applicant would be required to manage risk in a high complex environment through development of risk management strategy aligned to segment and group strategy for area of accountability and ensure implementation thereof; manage a team to deliver on strategy and to drive platform thinking and enabling or embedding risk capabilities to support mitigation of risk.

Are you someone who can:

Identify and encourage participation in activities that are appropriate for own and employee development in area of responsibilityEnsure optimised customer experience and service throughout the value chainAnalyse, manage and implement risk mitigation plansAccountable for risk management across multiple disciplines in order drive key strategic outcomesDevelop, encourage, and nurture collaborative relationships across business areas and across the groupDevelop tactical strategy and delivery plans in support of functional strategic objectives in partnership with leadershipAnalyse information and reports to identify trends, discrepancies and inconsistencies for decision making purposesDeploys integrated risk management, governance, and compliance frameworks throughout area of responsibilityEstablish mutually beneficial relationships with stakeholders that support thought leadership, innovative and integrated practice solutions

You will be an ideal candidate if you:

Have a degree or post graduate degree risk related fieldAt least 10 years’ experience in a similar environment, of which 5 years should ideally have been at senior management level
