Responsibilities:

Undertake loss control / risk management activities in accordance with Chubb guidelines. Complete assessment of risk to insured properties (i.e. fire, natural perils etc.) for internal and external customers based on Chubb standards.  This may include: Physical site surveys; Review of information provided by third parties; Information collected from internet, subscriptions to loss preventation standards, phone / video calls, and site meetings with external customers. Provides engineering support and risk evaluation services for Underwriting in order to manage renewal accounts and new business opportunities. Account management, including scheduling and monitoring of site visits, quality assurance, and development of relationships with customers. Remain abreast of current loss control and engineering best practices, including identifying emerging risks and claims trends. Work in conjunction with others on special projects to improve process efficiency and enhancement of services. Develop subject matter expertise in a designated area. Marketing of Chubb Risk Engineering Services.

Requirements:

Engineering or physical science degree with post-degree work experience, preferably involving engineering roles at industrial operations, facility maintenance, fire engineering / fire protection system design or building compliance.Demonstrated ability to analyse a technical issue, summarise any findings and identify any corrective action required.Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.  Excellent written and spoken English language skills are essential.Effective communication and work closely with Underwriters, clients and Chubb Worldwide personnel. Good technical report writing skills.  The ability to write clearly and concisely is essential.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously when required and develop internal and external relationships and set appropriate priorities in line with overall company and business unit strategy and goals.A willingness to travel to service client locations throughout Indonesia, and further afield if required.At least 5 years insurance industry experience in risk engineering / loss control.
