About the role:

As a Risk Analysis Intern, you will work with the Risk Analysis team at Westinghouse global headquarters, located in Cranberry, PA. This is a 40 hour per week intern position.

No sponsorship is available for this role.

You will report to the Senior Manager - Risk Analysis.

Responsibilities: Support Probabilistic Risk Assessments (PRA) for nuclear power plant systems, evaluating plants potential vulnerability to all risk and hazard types (i.e., seismic, fire, flooding) for domestic and international plants Perform database population and data analysis for multiple programs Perform code validation testing activities Apply fundamental engineering principles Establish and implement personal goals and action plans Work with global team through email, phone, Microsoft Teams. Database management and data analysis skills Interest in software programming and code development, while not required, is considered a benefit Qualifications: Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical) Minimum GPA of 3.0 Complete Junior year of college by May, 2025
