We are urgently seeking a FPSO Rigging Supervisor to ensure the safe and efficient operation of rigging activities on an FPSO vessel, contributing to the overall success of offshore production and storage operations for our international client’s project team based in Equatorial Guinea.
Job Summary:
The FPSO Rigging Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all rigging and lifting operations on an FPSO vessel. This role ensures that all rigging equipment is properly installed, maintained, and used in accordance with industry standards and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities: Supervise Rigging Operations: Oversee the setup, maintenance, and operation of rigging equipment used for lifting and moving heavy loads. Coordinating and managing the daily rigging operations adhering to stringent SHE procedures. Development of lifting plans and risk assessment. Organization and operation of cranes, managing offloading cargo from vessel and locating all equipment and material safely to site. Supervision of multinational rigging teams. Provision of lifting, handling of equipment to the project team workforce to ensure timely and efficient project execution. Promote lateral learning of best practices and implement competency training for National employees. Audit of lifting equipment. Development programs for Nationalization of Equatorial Guineans. Subsea umbilical and flow line change-out.
Qualification and Skills Requirements: Relevant degree or certification in rigging, engineering, or a related field. Minimum 8-10 years’ extensive experience in FPSO rigging operations, preferably in the maritime or offshore industry. Valid Offshore certificates. Familiar with and ability to respond/escape emergencies on offshore facilities and water entry/survival.
