We're also looking at what's next for you and we can help you build a career you're proud of. **_Currently hiring Rigger Journeyman pay $34.00 with Per Diem $ 95.00 on days worked granted all requirements are meet._** As a **Rigger Journeyman** for our PICCo project **CP Chem in Orange Texas** , you will contribute to our team by: **Experience:** + Experience in the industrial construction industry (petrochemical, power plant, cement plant) or related field, with four or more years of experience as a Rigger. + NCCER Advanced Rigger certified **Skills:** + Strong math knowledge and skills as related to the job tasks.Able to add, subtract, multiple, and divide whole numbers and fractions rapidly and accurately. + Able to effectively use verbal and written communication skills. + A general knowledge of standard rigging procedures and OSHA standards + Sound knowledge of rigging skills. + Able to use a tag line to position and control materials and equipment. + Able to read, understand, and followlift plans + Know and understand industry standard signals for flagging lifting equipment. + Have basic knot tying skills. + Understand and use all crane hand signals. + A thorough knowledge of the standard methods of safely rigging and lifting equipment and materials such as structural steel, pipe conduit, vessels, rotating equipment, heaters, etc. + Successfully complete the appropriate PCL skills assessment tests. **Must be able to pass DISA and all pre-employment requirements** PCL is an innovative, safety-oriented company comprised of people who find passion in their profession and take pride in doing great work everyday.
