RFP & RFI Analyst

This position is accountable for developing and driving a balanced and professional response for Requests for Proposals (RFP) for the Sales Distribution Teams – accomplished through the coordination and partnership with other functional areas.  In addition, this position will also be responsible for simultaneously managing projects that contribute to strategic initiatives that will improve the area’s productivity and response quality.

Responsibilities:

Support the production of high-quality RFP responses in support of business sales goals Prepare and assemble customized proposals in response to RFP requests, requiring the ability to synthesize/summarize information into clear, concise responses that present a positive and robust image of our company Create strong working relationships with key subject matter experts throughout the organization in order to maintain knowledge, facilitate cooperation and ensure timely responses to specific proposal questions Ensure proper reviews, signatures and accompanying information is complete per instructions of each RFP Consistently deliver dependable, accurate and timely service Responsible for assembly, graphics, formatting, and mode of delivery (electronic, hard copy, etc.) to ensure proposals arrive at the client or broker location on time Load responses into multiple RFP systems in partnership with the Sales organization prior to submission Support the development of an organization focused on delivering high quality, consistent, and accurate proposals which accurately reflect the service offering and associated costs being offered to the customer Provide support for ongoing maintenance of the response database for all products and services in effort to keep information up to date and accurate Mentor and support the training of new Analysts in the development of responses to RFPs. Manage and execute on continuous improvement projects that ensure information is not only accurate but also contribute to broader company strategic initiatives Performs other duties as required

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience required Experience in the group benefits industry
