We are seeking an RF Systems Engineer to join our team in sunny Orlando, FL!!

What You Will Be Doing

This role will lead RF benchmarking, modeling/simulation, and algorithms associated with a design, analysis, and prototyping of an RF subsystem.

You will provide leadership to the technical team in order to achieve successful demonstration to include system analyses, algorithm development, functional analysis, system integration, and test.

In this role, the candidate is responsible for:

• Developing RF System and Subsystem Architectures. Systems architect and Designs Radio Frequency systems and algorithms.

• Prepares test methods and specifications; analyzes and tests RF hardware to verify performance characteristics.

• Provides inputs to Product Development and formal documentation during design, prototyping, and demonstration.

• Modeling, simulation, and analysis of RF performance for Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) platforms for Communications/Controls (C2), Electronic Warfare (EW), and RF sensing use cases.

Basic Qualifications:
• Appropriate degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education, with professional experience and specialized training commensurate with assignment.

- Experience in RF System and Subsystem Architectures for Missiles & Fire Control (MFC) products.

• Modeling, simulation, and analysis of RF performance.

• Develops and allocates RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements. This candidate will identify / track RF technical performance measurements (TPMs), perform RF system/subsystem/component trade studies.

• Candidates must possess experience to ensure technical leadership and support is provided for algorithm and system engineering development processes.

• Knowledge of RF signal processing with RF sensor architecture experience including trade studies, predicted performance, and benchmarking for subsystems/microelectronics.

• Experience with RF algorithms implementation in digital signal processing flows. Familiarity with edge computing architectures. Knowledge of rapidly reconfigurable embedded programmable device kernels, signal processing decision trees, and real time interfaces of processor subsystem that modify and create novel RF algorithms/missions/decision trees.

• Candidate must possess ability to plan and lead the technical efforts associated with requirements verification/validation, analysis, lab performance characterization, and RF algo/performance analysis and mission/platform performance prediction.

• Expert MATLAB programing skills or equivalent experience with other languages.

This role is partially remote telework role and will require 20% travel.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
