Advanced Energy has devoted four decades to perfecting power for its global customers and is headquartered in Denver, Colorado. **POSITION SUMMARY:** Advanced Energy, Plasma Power RF Engineering is looking for an experienced and proven multi-discipline Engineering Manager for its RF Product Regression Test team to manage the product launch of RF generator products and systems used in Plasma Power applications. The Regression Test Engineering Manager is responsible to lead a multi-disciplined test team and coordinate with other cross functional teams to ensure the quality of new RF generator products and systems. The manager is responsible for leading resources devoted to technology and product test projects while delivering on time to commitments. The position has high visibility with Sr. Management and may involve direct customer interaction. Some travel maybe required to customer sites. Ideal candidates will have a system engineering focus to consider the product, interfaces, and the system configurations needed to solve product quality issues. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** + Provide engineering leadership to the team for the design of automated test systems. + Communicate goals and objectives to your team and make sure all are aligned on the requirements and commitments to internal and external customers. + Maintain an agile approach to functional deliverables to ensure the most important or critical functionality is prioritized. + Align on risk management for when new technology is ready and how much risk we are willing to absorb into the program. + Implement best practices within a cross-function design team to support appropriate level of process and review of the test process. + Lead your team to integrate automated regression tests seamlessly into the continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipeline. + Enable rapid feedback loops and early product defect detection. + Design and develop robust, reusable regression test cases covering critical functionalities and edge cases for a broad range of product configurations. + Oversee the execution of automated regression tests, analyze results, identify defects, and prioritize bug fixes. + Actively collaborate with developers, system administrators, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment on testing requirements and release timelines. + Establish metrics to track test coverage, defect density, and overall regression testing effectiveness, providing regular reports to leadership. + Mentor and guide test engineers on best practices for automated regression testing and DevOps principles. + Provide leadership and mentoring for a growing team of design engineers including staff planning to support current and future needs. **WORK ENVIRONMENT:** + Location: Fort Collins, Colorado; In office first. + Ability to travel within US and abroad for short periods of time to support new product launches as needed. **QUALIFICATIONS:** + Proven experience leading and mentoring a team of test engineers following agile principles. + Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC). + Strong understanding DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines. Experience with Bit Bucket, Bit Bucket Pipelines, Artifactory, Docker, SQL or similar tools is a plus. + Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., C, Python, Java, C#) for test script development. + Expertise in various testing techniques including regression testing, functional testing, integration testing, and performance testing. + Experience with JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project or other project management tools. + Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate complex technical issues. **EXPERIENCE:** + 8 - 10 years’ experience in related industries preferably working with power electronics, but other relevant industry experience will be considered. **EDUCATION:** + Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, systems engineering, computer science (or similar) technical degree. **COMPENSATION:** _As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location.
