The Strike Weapons Survivability Team is seeking a Low Observables Engineer to support production operations for a Missile program in beautiful Troy, Alabama!!

What You Will Be Doing

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessment and disposition of anomalies relating to the LO design of the vehicle.

Candidate will also be responsible for evaluation of Radar Cross Section (RCS) data required for DD250 of each missile.

You will be responsible for evaluating RCS measurements of the vehicle.

You will be responsible for planning, performing, post-processing, and communicating the results of vehicle signature measurements.

Must have the ability to work independently and in small teams and participate in Government forums and internal program reviews.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in a STEM degree such as Electrical Engineering, Physics, etc...

Minimum of 5+ years of Engineering Experience in any of the following: RF Technology, or Radar Cross Section, or Low Observables, or Survivability.

- Experience evaluating RCS measurements of the vehicle.

- Experience planning, performing, post-processing, and communicating the results of vehicle signature measurements.

-Experience utilizing RCS data collection and data reduction software to analyze vehicle performance.

- Knowledge of the Effects of Defects (EOD) and Effect of Repairs (EOR) on vehicle signature.

- Experience writing and using scripts to batch analysis and post-processing.


Additional Qualifications:

- Current active Secret Clearance is needed and the ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance is required.

- Previous experience in low observables (LO), survivability.

- Knowledge in radar cross section reduction (RCSR) or radio-frequency (RF) antenna design/integration

- Knowledge of RADAR, RF materials, RF material measurements

** Must be available to work WEEKEND SHIFT-(typical hours will be Fri- Sun, 6am-6pm with some flexibility).
Desired Skills:
-Masters degree in Electrical Engineering.

-Experience with CAD software literacy for model cleanup and meshing.

- The candidate should or will develop experience in customer/client interaction.

- The position requires strong verbal and written communication skills for reports and technical briefings to large groups.

-Experience with evaluating discrepancies and creating repair procedures.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years
