RF Engineer Staff

**Description:** Development and integration of Radar and Multifunction Radio Frequency \(RF\) System/Subsystems\. Specific responsibilities include
• Development and allocation of RF system and subsystem functional and performance requirements\.
• RF technical performance measurements \(TPMs\) identification and management\.
• RF link budget analysis and optimization, including effects of propagation medium and possible interference sources\.
• Integration and test of the RF system into the air vehicle or test facilities to validate that the system meets performance requirements\.
• Prepares test methods and specifications to analyze and test RF systems to verify performance characteristics\.
• Analysis of test data to include signal post\-processing, visualization, and comparison with modeled data\.
• Interfacing with subcontractors from task completion to delivery of a product that meets requirements within the required timeline and budget\.
**Basic Qualifications:**
• Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 9 years of professional experience; or 7 years of professional experience with a related Masters degree\.
• Basic understanding of radar concepts
• Basic understanding of electromagnetics and antenna concepts
• Ability to create test documents such as plans, procedures, and reports
• Excellent Communication Skills, both written and oral
\*\* Ability to obtain and maintain a DOD Secret Clearance, therefore you must be a US Citizen\.
**Desired Skills:**
• Experience with radar signal processing algorithms including target detection, target tracking and parameter estimation
• Experience in near\-field and far\-field RF/microwave measurements\.
• Experience in wideband active electronically scanned array \(AESA\) radar calibration techniques\.
• Experience with field\-programmable gate array \(FPGA\), System on Chip \(SoC\) and application\-specific integrated circuit \(ASIC\) architectures and firmware\.
• Experience in creation of data analysis, reduction, and visualization tools using high\-level, general\-purpose languages such as Pyhton and Matlab
**Security Clearance Statement:** This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration\.
**Clearance Level:** Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

**Ability to Work Remotely:** Onsite Full\-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility\.
**Work Schedules:** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees\. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed\. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits\.
**Schedule for this Position:** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
