The Wahpeton, ND location is seeking a Rework/Repair Operator to join our team. **HOW WILL MAKE AN IMPACT** The Rework/Repair Operator is responsible for performing various tasks including repairing belts, setting up and operating equipment, inspecting, and ensuring nonconforming materials are properly handled. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to safety protocols, and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards to ensure the final product quality meets the customer’s specification. + Inspection and repair of rubber belting products as possible to ensure fit/form/function and comply with customer expectations + Set up and operate all equipment according to company procedures, standards, and work instructions. + Follow all processing, measuring, packaging, and shipping procedures as directed. + Comply with all safety rules and regulations and maintains a clean, organized and safe work environment + Utilize the NCR as a quality metric and improvement tool + Assist in the closure of NCR’s, and dispositions of repaired roles + Assist in determining nonconforming materials in quarantine + Follow up on Corrective Action submissions + Perform inspections and audits on materials that potentially will or wont be repaired + Verify inspection report data and report accordingly any disposition or repair + Participate in the preparation of ISIR and PPAP documentation + Participate in the examination, evaluation and disposition of warranty items and rejected materials + May occasionally be required to reroll matrices as well as roll length verifications as secondary duties + Perform any other duties as assigned or required **WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE** + Internal Applications Only + High school graduate or equivalent + Must be able to pass the forklift certification + Basic slitter operation may be required as part of regular job duties + Working knowledge of quality policies, programs, methods and procedures + Knowledge of products, applications and customer requirements/peculiarities + Understanding of ContiTech production capabilities and limitations + Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability + Demonstrated ability to work in a logical, systematic manner + Prompt attention to and effective follow-through on all production quality concerns + Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to plan, organize and complete duties in a timely manner **THE ENVIRONMENT** + · Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to.
