Plan and perform all required operations to set-up and operate production machinery following accepted methods and procedures within required standards/Keep work areas and equipment clean and orderly at all times. Clean machinery, fixtures, pallets and or tooling/Report any equipment or material problems to supervisor which cannot be resolved within the department/Maintain all equipment inspection, maintenance, and production reports. /Provide training for lesser skilled operators./Ability to run Polishing equipment./Perform other duties as required or directed including performing primary operator responsibilities for finishing processes during absence of primary operator/Ability to use computers for input and retrieval of information/Effectively communicate problems, determine root causes and recommend corrective action to material and process issues./Ability to make sound financial decisions when dispositioning non conforming material./Creatively problem solve ways to not only repair non conforming material, but prevent it from reoccurring/Ability to work with computer software to effectively review current inventory and future demand./Ability to determine the appropriate path of disposition for non conforming material that will have the least financial impact to the company.We Celebrate Who We Are!Allegion is committed to building and maintaining a diverse and inclusive workplace.
