Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health provides mental and behavioral health services as well as child welfare case management services for children, adolescents and adults, whose needs are extra ordinary. As a Revenue Specialist, you will:

Accounts Receivable or related experience is required. Behavioral Health preferred but will consider Healthcare, in general.Knowledge of Medicaid, Manage Care and Commercial plans and other third-party billing processes.Knowledge and demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.  Experience with electronic health records is preferred. Knowledge of and proficiency in using financial database management systems.Able to multitask and demonstrate flexibility and adapt to changing priorities, when necessary.Strong attention to detail, able to prioritize tasks, coordinate multiple projects happening simultaneously.Experience with health Insurance, authorization process, third party liabilities, co-insurance/co-pays, and automated billing systems. Familiar with insurance web portals to verify eligibility and status of claims.Analytical with the ability to research and problem solve issues until a resolution is determined.Approachable, team player, professional, reliableDemonstrate excellent customer service skills both orally and written.

 

Position Details:

Salary:  Starts at $19.50 - 22.77 / hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience)

Schedule: Monday- Friday (8am-5pm)

Schedule: This position is an in-person position, located by the Orlando International Airport.

Qualifications

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent requiredBachelor's degree in finance, healthcare administration or related preferred

Experience:  

1+ years of healthcare revenue contracting, finance, provider relations, or related required

Other:

Must be over 21 and have a valid driver's licenseMust be able to attend a 3 day new hire orientation class, Monday - Wednesday, 9am - 5pm
