Revenue Cycle Liaison
Job Summary

This role will report to the Sr. Director of Shared Services and is responsible for the comprehensive management and analysis of revenue cycle metrics across a subset of Corewell facilities attributable to a specific Market CFO. Key responsibilities include reviewing and interpreting key reports, identifying and managing performance improvement initiatives, and facilitating strong communication with the enterprise revenue cycle, Market CFOs, clinical operations, and other stakeholders as identified. The role demands deep content knowledge and understanding of revenue cycle processes and their interrelations across an integrated system. Additionally, the position will ensure key stakeholders' compliance with Revenue Cycle policies and procedures, work with Revenue Cycle internal clients (Hospitals, HBCs, and Clinics) to drive revenue cycle initiatives from the Revenue Cycle Governance Committee, and develop regular analyses, reports, and ad-hoc special projects. The role also involves facilitating meetings with stakeholders across the enterprise to support revenue cycle initiatives.

Essential FunctionsKey Performance Indicators Management: Monitor and use of KPI's: Manage KPI dashboard and ensure that data importing is correct. Monitor operational KPIs to identify revenue cycle opportunities and address lagging metrics in collaboration with Revenue Cycle Liaison team. Run needed data analytics and identify trends that contribute to enterprise-wide issues. Work with Digital Services and customers to import data as needed into KPI dashboard to ensure accuracy. Facilitate meetings with customers to and revenue cycle leadership to resolved identified issues. Work with customer leaders (i.e. hospital & clinic leadership) to reconcile true root cause of issues and to resolve it appropriately. 40 percent.Daily Operations: Day to day operations: Work with the Revenue Cycle Liaison counterparts and customers daily to resolve reoccurring issues and facility trends. Work with Sr. Director of Shared Services to operationalize the strategic plan. 10 percent.Facilitate Revenue Cycle Liaison Stakeholder Meetings: Facilitation and Attendance of Key Stakeholder Meetings: Set agenda and facilitate content for key stakeholder meetings, including but not limited to, Market CFOs, Revenue Cycle Leadership, Clinical Operations, Finance Leadership, related to trends identified during Key Performance Indicator Reviews. Following meetings, update and maintain action plans related to issue resolution and communicate to involved parties, as needed. Attend Denials Prevention Task Force (DPTF) and Payer Accountability Committee (PAC) meetings on a regular basis to understand issues at hand and escalate to stakeholders, as needed. 40 percent.Reporting and Escalating: Report and escalate significant findings and issues to appropriate stakeholders. Share findings on Revenue Cycle Liaison SharePoint to have information distributed enterprise wide. Meet as needed with site leadership customers to escalate identified issues related to Revenue Cycle Liaison operations. Identify and escalate needed issues related to workflow, technology limitations, implementation and other problems to Sr. Director of Shared Services. 10 percent.
