The Revenue Accounting Manager will be responsible for supporting the revenue accounting function. 

This position will report to the Director of Revenue Accounting and will work closely with other departments that support the Order to Cash function (Orders Management, Accounts Receivable, Credit & Collections, etc). 

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, have experience with ASC 606 (and the allocation of revenue under multiple-element arrangements), and be motivated by working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that revenue is accurately and timely recognizedReview and update accounting schedules (SSPs, MEAs) to support ASC 606 revenueWork closely with Orders, Accounts Receivable, & Sales Operations teams to ensure that policies and processes are in place to systematically ensure that revenue is recognized correctlyKey point of contact with external auditors for all revenue recognition topics (including preparation of revenue schedules and updates to accounting policies)Lead integration efforts of opening balance sheet items for M&A transactionsAssist with month-end close including review of various journal entries, account reconciliations, and trends analysisPerform daily analysis, review exception reports and reconcile accounting systems to ensure accurate reportingAssist in the preparation of internal and external revenue reporting packagesCoach, mentor and support a team of Senior/Staff accountants

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Finance or AccountingCPA required5+ years of accounting experienceExperience with Software and SaaS Revenue Recognition under ASC 606Public Accounting experience a plusExceptional written/oral communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to break down complex issues and tailor communication style to a range of audiences, including non-accountants, and to clearly articulate ideas, solutions and conclusions to stakeholdersSelf-starter with the ability to prioritize effectively and work well colleagues across businesses and geographies in a fast-paced environmentExcellent computer skills required, especially Microsoft ExcelExperience with NetSuite and ARM (Advanced Revenue Module) a plus
