The RETIC Center Manager leads and manages complex technical projects/ programs by deploying and leading multidisciplinary teams. Duties include planning and overseeing projects, as well as managing finances and supervising multiple engineering teams.

As a RETIC Center Manager, you will be responsible for:

Lead and motivate a team of engineers, scientists and technicians, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.Manage team performance, provide coaching and mentorship and conduct performance evaluations.Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and with all other stakeholders.Responsible for resource allocation, project planning, budgets and schedules.Lead a planning and execution, particularly of cross business unit or cross functional initiatives.Demonstrate strong technical leadership and people management skills including solid communication and analytical skills with thorough understanding of end-to-end product development processes.Influence decision making through active partnership with cross-functional teams. Work closely with other product and technology teams to ensure that programs, strategies, and processes are aligned with the overall organization direction.Play a significant role in the coordination and engagement with Petrobras, ANP and all other local clients to maximize investment and funding opportunities for Baker HughesRepresent the center at industry conferences and events.Drive a culture of meritocracy with focus on competency assessment, performance reviews and upskilling

Bachelor’s degree in engineeringExperience in Leadership and project managementPrevious experience in end-to-end new product development and lifecycle supportStrong written and verbal communication skills both in Portuguese and EnglishStrong interpersonal skillsAdditional leadership experience in areas of operations, manufacturing and quality preferred
