Our client is searching for a Retail Supervisor to be based at their Secunda To assist the Manager with the management of operations staff infrastructure and service delivery in line with the operational framework of processes policies standards and controls to ensure customer satisfaction

Key performance areas
Ensure the implementation of customer service and relations in line with quality and performance standards through floor management
Resolve escalated customer queries and complaints and provide feedback to customers on matters resolved
Ensure quality control measures are completed and standards adhered to at all times
Regularly liaise with the Area Manager on Operational Plans processes and performance standards to ensure line of sight on the practices underpinning crossfunctional processes
Stay abreast of developments in the region within shopping center
Conduct weekly and monthly staff meetings
Take ownership and accountability for maintaining quality standards service and desired outputs within interrelated functional areas of responsibility
Actively participate in the selection process of suitable applicants to fill vacancies
Train and coach staff to meet the required standards
Coach staff on how to resolve and handle conflicts
Complete performance reviews for all staff on a quarterly basis
Ensure that all payroll administration is completed in line with the specified timeframe process and requirements
Check Audit pack on a daily basis
In consultation with the Area Manager and Accountant monitor Income and Expenditure by checking monthly income statements and implementing corrective action
Review weekly/monthly results and preparing weekly/monthly report for Area Manager
Identify and discuss marketing and promotional ideas with Regional Marketing Manager and develop a marketing plan to drive customer attendance
Implement marketing and promotional material and initiatives accordingly to plan
Provide regular feedback on all Promotional and Marketing initiatives feedback must include weaknesses and learning points

Requirements
Grade 12 with Maths/Maths Literacy with a minimum pass rate of 40 percent
3 Year degree or diploma
4 to 6 years experience in a retail / customer focused environment
Personal Flexibility in terms of working hours including Sunday holiday work and night work
