Eldora is the backyard winter mountain playground for Greater Denver, Boulder County, and Colorado's northern Front Range. Eldora is located just outside of the charming mountain town of Nederland, Colorado, about 20 miles west of Boulder and less than 50 miles from downtown Denver.
Eldora strives to deliver Colorado’s Front Range the most memorable outdoor adventures to locals and out-of-town visitors. Eldora Mountain Resort employs up to 700 employees at peak season and has 680 acres of lift-accessible terrain for skiing and snowboarding, including a Woodward Mountain Park experience, and a world class Nordic Center.

Implements staff training and support by holding clinics on products and providing necessary tools for staff to improve sales tactics.Works directly with Retail Management to assess performance of products carried and ensure sell through.Assists the Manager with purchasing tasks for store products and supply needs.Creates a positive, uplifting service culture both internally and externally.Upholds customer service standards and resolves customer concerns.Implements safety by holding meetings with warehouse and sales staff, requires employee personal protective equipment and creating safe practices throughout day-to-day tasks.Oversees organization of all points of sale and store sales floor locationsDrives sales goals by holding communication with team members to discuss specials, implement sales contests and incentivize performance.Works closely with warehouse supervisor to perform monthly cycle counts of inventory.Oversees and ensures efficient and streamlined processes of front of house activities and customer service experience.Maintains effective merchandising techniques throughout store locations by using creativity to captivate consumers and effectively assists in managing inventory flow.Handles internal and external conflict in a positive manner.Has a general understanding of labor management and helps maintain expenses.Reports and communicates effectively with retail management on sales floor needs and tasks.Secondary Function:
Assists with the administration of programs, procedures, and guidelines to help align the workforce and business model with the strategic goals of the company, from the front of house operations in the retail department.Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems.Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars.Assists to establish departmental measurements that support the accomplishment of the company's strategic goals.Assists with identifying key performance indicators.Employee Relations:
Assists and leads front of house development and training.Maintains employee training records.Documents employee issues and communicates them effectively to Retail Management team.Maintains overall enjoyable staff experience by implementing positivity and fun in daily operations.Oversees employee safety and incorporates safety into the work-place culture.Specific Job Skills:

General knowledge of the outdoor Industry and associated productsExperience with retail or salesStaff supervisor experienceExcellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.Effective oral and written communication.Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality.Excellent organizational skills.Inventory management experience.Two plus years of experience required in a Retail Leadership role.Retail POS and customer service experience required.Purchasing experience preferred.Compensation:
Compensation: Proposed hiring rate of $23+, actual pay will be adjusted based on experience.Benefits: This is a seasonal position eligible for season pass for employees/dependents and privileges at several other resorts.
