Our client a leading fashion house is searching for a highly experienced Store Manager for their outlet in Gateway Durban

Key Performance Areas
Ensure store sales targets are met
Manage operations by initiating coordinating and enforcing program operational and personnel policies and procedures
Conduct stock control and physical stock counts
Achieve financial and operational objectives by analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
Ensure excellent quality of customer service including dealing with customer complaints
Manage accurate retail reporting to head office
Securing merchandise by ensuring security measures are in proper working order at all times
Ensure timeous replenishment of stock
Market merchandise by ensuring good shop display
Identify and analyze current and future customer requirements by establishing rapport with potential and actual customers to understand service requirements
Manage the team to comply with company HR Policies and Procedures
Maintain store staff job results by coaching counseling and disciplining staff planning monitoring and appraising job results
Maintain a safe and clean store environment stability and reputation of the store by complying with legal requirements
Drive continuous improvements for the store

Qualification and Experience
Matric
Experience as Retail Manager of clothing store for min 3 years

Competencies
Excellent product knowledge
Excellent Customer service/sales focus
To coordinate organize and control teams and their performance
Effective problem solving skills
Good display and merchandise abilities
Computer literacy Microsoft Office Integrity

Salary R10 000 to R12 000 per month
