Retail/Rental Lead

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day Retail and Rental operations. Includes all Retail stores, carts, Cabanas, Tubes, and Lockers. Playing a key role in the Training and Development of the Retail and Rental seasonal staff. Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained and follows-up with Supervisors, and In-Park Revenue Manager. Assist the Supervisor in daily operation of Retail location(s) at Hurricane Harbor. May be required to operate area with supervisor not present. Assist with administrative tasks such as in completing timesheets, ensuring all employees are signed in and out, and breaks given out in order. Ensure all required paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Train all team members on the Point of Sale (POS) system and ensure adherence to all operational procedures and policies Focus on maintaining stock levels, visual displays, addressing damages, and handling inventory transfers. Must have a strong knowledge of products, actively promote them in a positive manner, and consistently strive to make every sale Presentation must be kept neat, clean, departmentalized, and visually appealing to Guests. Maintain a well-organized and clean work area for all assigned locations. Emphasized focus on the Cabana operation, policies, and procedures. Responsible for daily performance of all employees within the assigned area, to ensure that Guest First Service and Safety policies are followed. Possess strong knowledge of Six Flags passes, retail/rental discounts, and promotional offerings. Inspect all personnel for grooming violations. Requires using a telephone or radio communication device in a professional manner. Ensure compliance with all Corporate and Park policies and procedures. Protect and secure all assets, including equipment and merchandise. Perform duties including park setup and breakdown, visual displays, and signage. Fully execute the company’s commitment to friendly, clean, fast, safe service Other duties as assigned by the IPR Full time/Supervisors and the IPS Manager.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be 16 years of age or older Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues and implement solutions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Ability to manage register transactions. Previous experience in supervising a team. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks at once. Attention to detail is a must Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
