Sodexo is seeking a Retail Operations Manager for Tampa General Hospital located in Tampa, FL. 

 

Tampa General Hospital is a private not-for-profit hospital and one of the most comprehensive medical facilities in West Central Florida serving a dozen counties with a population in excess of 4 million.

The Retail Operations Manager will manage a team of approximately 60 hourly staff and have direct oversight of the floor stock, nourishment rooms of hospital, and catering.  

 

Our ideal Candidate will:

be VERY detail orientedbe a hands-on working mangerhave high hospital administration contacthave strong interpersonal skillshave great planning skills and expertisebe highly organizedhave prior hospital skillshave prior Sodexo knowledge (a plus, not required)

The successful candidate will:

motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline (hourly-paid), staff.provide stellar customer service.oversee cash handing processes, and POS programming and maintenance.ensure company food and physical safety programs and standards are followed.conduct retail brand standard audits (in-house and national brands).maintain integrity of retail branded concept standards (national and in-house brands).manage the opening and closing the operation as well daily retail food service operations.ensure all needed signage (including digital) is in place.manage vendor relationships and compliance; and/ormaintain all product merchandising, marketing, and ordering standards are in place.

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years
Basic Functional Experience - 3 years of experience in retail operations
