Overview
The Operations Manager provides leadership and guidance drive sales ecommerce operations and a positive customer experience Further to this she/ she is responsible to ensure that the supply chain function supports the achievement of clients&rsquo strategic objectives through managing client relationships and optimising an integrated and efficient supply chain that will maximise customer satisfaction proactively respond to market changes and enhance revenue and profit
Duties for the Operations Manager will include leading and coordinating business operations scheduling monitoring and motivating staff managing operations and costs ensuring exceptional customer service improving processes engaging with vendors hiring and training employees identifying business opportunities monitoring financial activities and creating policies and procedures
Your entrepreneurial spirit and vision in seeing needs as they arise and addressing them to direct business functions will help us generate new business increase staff productivity and improve our exceptional service to customers
Key Performance Areas
Achieve the ecommerce financial performance goals such as Order Picking Time Order Dwell Time Drive Time Order Defect Rate and Cost Per Order
Manager monitor and report on the endtoend ECommerce fulfillment Supply Chain of various Clients and their brands
Build and develop a successful team with a customer centric attitude high engagement and active participation
Optimizing and improving all business activities team development process improvements cost reductions marketing strategy and overall sales to meet objectives
Overseeing daily operations in warehouse fulfillment marketing and customer service
Implement and oversee a project management tool to effectively delegate track and communicate progress regarding all team projects
Establish and continuously improve a highly organized effective warehouse layout processes and team for efficient shipping and receiving Observe workflow and provide feedback for adjusting where supplies and work locations should be most effectively located
Spot check work as needed to facilitate quality control and minimize errors & communicate feedback to the fulfillment team
Review any picking & packing and bundling errors each month to determine the accuracy rate of our team Find trends of what kind of errors are occurring & provide leadership in discussing and developing ways to improve based on the trends
Manage staff preparing work schedules and assigning specific duties
Developing and implementing growth and optimization strategies for fulfillment marketing and customer service
Determine staffing requirements interview hire train supervise and evaluate the performance and productivity of team members
Evaluate operational and financial data to improve process and performance
Coordinate and adjust pricing to optimize warehouse capacity cash flow and profit while minimizing storage costs
Establish and implement goals objectives policies and procedures for fulfillment customer service and marketing
Evaluate service partners to ensure that they efficiently and effectively provide needed services while staying within budgetary limits
Participate in the evaluation and recommendation of investment opportunities to support growth and increase efficiency
Oversee the efficiency and effectiveness of all outbound shipments and improve processes as needed
Manage warehouse operation with regards to Forklift Drivers Pickers and Loaders and Delivery Agents
Daily control of nominated delivery days and loading of stock
Maximizing vehicle utilization and booking of special deliveries
Management of all Warehouse Material Handling Equipment including daily inspections and breakdowns
Manage staff leave and timesheets and IR related issues
Management of all relevant HSE requirements in the Warehouse
Maintaining quality standards for products and operation
Create solutions develop strategies and best practices to optimize the Customer Service Logistics and Demand Planning teams
Ensure that all functions of Receiving Storage and Dispatch operations are carried out in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures for the company

Customer Services
Requirements
BCom/Commercial or related Supply Chain/Procurement/Logistic/Business Management degree
5 years Supply Chain experience including eCommerce Logistics and Supply Chain Customer Service with experience within an eCommerce organisation being preferable
Demonstrated both operational knowledge and leadership as well as demonstrating customer service supply chain experience
Experience to indicate advancement through career and ability to lead teams and motivate and grow individual performers
Candidate to have shown excellence in a Supply Chain category such as logistics or manufacturing showing an ability to deal with complexity data and a customer service orientation
Customer Service mindset lives and breathes the customer result across internal and external customers and stakeholders
Strong leadership skills ability to lead by example and manage multiple tasks
Proven organization skills attention to detail followthrough and time management skills
Strong written/verbal communication skills analytical math and problemsolving skills
