Work. Explore. this summer! Job Summary: Oversees the training and supervision of the retail department staff, ensuring exceptional customer service and effective problem-solving. This role includes monitoring the store's financial performance, implementing cash handling procedures, preparing merchandise displays, and adhering to company environmental and safety practices while performing other assigned duties as needed. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: May through October 2025 (exact dates vary by location) Pay: Starting at $1,516.00 bi-weekly (subject to change for 2025) Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Glacier National Park? Ensure staff gives great customer service and problem solves issues. Monitor the financial performance of the store. Implement proper cash handling procedures. Prepare displays and merchandise as directed. Company and departmental environmental practices, safety practices, and policies and procedures. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Responsible for every aspect of the daily supervision of retail outlets, including sales and staff. Requires at least 6 months experience in retail or another environment with strong customer focus. Possess excellent written /verbal communication, organized, problem solving, math, and computer knowledge. Physical Requirements include: Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry a maximum of 50 pounds. Frequent lifting and carrying of supplies, boxes, bags of ice, and bundles of wood. Some locations require frequent trips up & down stairs. Must be able to bend, kneel, stretch, and reach for extended periods of time. Working safely with required chemicals. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
