Retail Fudge and Candy Maker

Have a passion for creating sweet and delicious treats? You’ll be part of the team that brings our guests taste buds to life, and leaves them asking for more! From whipping up specialty fudges, to creating candies of all shapes and sizes, your creations will be the talk of the park. But you won’t just be making the treats, you’ll also get a sweet mix of perks and fun!

As a Fudge and Candy Maker at Six Flags New England…

You’ll contribute to your mission by:

Setting up, operating, and tending equipment that cooks, mixes, blends, or processes ingredients in the manufacturing of food products, according to formulas or recipes. Food products may include, but are not limited to, various types of candies and fudges. Mixing and cooking candy ingredients by following, modifying, or formulating recipes to produce product of specified flavor, texture, and color Inspecting supplies, equipment, or work areas to ensure adherence to Six Flags New England standards Ability to work in a “kitchen” environment Supporting and promoting all park cleanliness for kitchen areas and equipment Removing of garbage and transporting to approved disposal areas Assisting in other areas of the Retail Department Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies Performing other duties as assigned or necessary to support Six Flags New England

Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety Passion and experience in creating delicious treats and sweets for our guests Ability to work with a team Ability to move quickly and be on feet for long periods of time Sense of fun

 

You’ll know you’re ready if you are:

Willing to work in a fast paced work environment Willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc. 18 years old or older
