Job Description

Impact of this role 

  

To work with Senior Retail Manager to implement the strategic merchandise plan for specific area of accountability in line with the brand vision and meet sales targets and business objectives. To help build Rosewood’s luxury lifestyle positioning through supporting an omni-channel approach to optimize sales and ensuring brand integrity expressing the culture and values of the brand consistently for online and offline business units. Contribute to perform the day-to-day Gift Card business, including managing the platform, suppliers, stock management, queries and requests from our Gift card platform provider’s customer service and internal partners. To build reporting & and sales operations for retail department and stakeholders. 

 

Key Responsibilities  

 

Gift Card Program

Support growth of on and offline global gift card sales targets for brand and properties  Track gift card performances across channels and update monthly reporting to be shared with key stakeholders Coordinate gift card and collateral production, monthly warehouse inventories and reorders with nominated suppliers and vendors Oversee all brand marketing and operations of the gift card program; coordinate set-up of seasonal promotions, toolkits, LTD and post-mortem reporting  Work with properties to drive on and offline KPIs including implementing local and global experiences to maximize sales through new marketing channels  Support commercial with tools to drive new business through B2B  Regularly update gift card best practices, training, onboarding and refreshers to properties and relevant new joiners Support with onboarding of sales & marketing and finance teams for new openings Support with ad hoc customer service enquiries  Work with gift card suppliers on monthly invoices and account management 

Ecommerce (Digital platform for the sale of Gift Cards, Experiences and Merchandise Sales) 

Liaise with platform provider to onboard new properties Track ecommerce performances across channels and update monthly reporting to be shared with key stakeholders Manage ecommerce content for brand.com including photography, copy for new uploads Track monthly invoices and remittances to and from platform provider and all third-party suppliers and vendors  Oversee warehouse inventory and monthly statements for shipping and fulfilment with supplier Update merchandising guidelines and coordinate with retail and property leads to manage storefronts aligned to brand standards To work together with Mar/Comms, Digital and CRM teams on product launches and seasonal pushes including EDMs and social content to maximize performance and achieve set KPIsDevelop monthly and quarterly reports to track global ecommerce performance

Retail Sales 

Monitor budget tracker, stock levels and sell-through in order to maintain seasonal targets and deliveries of merchandise Support with the development of merchandising guidelines and tools to support brand and properties in maximizing retail opportunities aligned with the Rosewood brand vision and customer profile Liaise with internal teams and external partners to create optimal and organized processes to track and maximize sales and profit  Develop monthly and quarterly reports to track global retail performance   

Gifting Program

To execute the brand strategy for Rosewood in-house product development and work collaboratively with nominated vendor to build and elevate the gifting portal offering Manage portal inventory and uploads including photography and copy updates  Track product development progress from sampling through to production approval ensuring milestones are met and the product creation process is standardized across categories Oversee property orders and deliveries to ensure timely deliveries and track quarterly remittances from vendor

Critical Skills & Qualification

Minimum of 2-4 years of experience within luxury, ecommerce, hospitality, retail, marketing, project management or related field. Experience working in digital marketing, retail and product environment is a plus Highly developed collaboration skills with an open mind and ability to work across different departments Delivery mentality coupled with the ability to solve urgent problems in practical and pragmatic ways Ability to manage and analyse data, build stories based on data insights, draw conclusions, and make data-driven decisions Creative problem solving, organization skills and high attention to detail. Strong team player, independent and creative problem solving, organization skills and high attention to detail Has a global perspective and has a deep passion and interest in travel, lifestyle and culture Able to provide analysis based on data and deliver improvements. Microsoft excel proficiency and PowerPoint is required. Fluent in English, other languages preferred.
