Yellowstone Retail is looking for friendly, enthusiastic, and passionate employees to provide unforgettable guest service to our visitors in our retail shops. We operate and maintain eleven retail outlets throughout the park. We don't sell souvenirs, we sell memories! Job Summary: This role involves delivering exceptional guest service in line with company hospitality standards while performing cashier duties and adhering to cash handling policies. Responsibilities include suggesting add-on sales, stocking products, maintaining a clean sales floor, and providing accurate information to guests. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: April 2025 - November 2025 (length of the season varies depending on location) Pay: $15.45/hour Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Yellowstone National Park? Responsibilities Provide excellent guest service by adhering to Xanterra’s hospitality standards Perform all cashiering duties while adhering to cash handling policies Suggest an add-on sale to every transaction performed Stock product as necessary, making sure all displays are kept stocked, neat and clean within the guidelines of the Visual Merchandising Manual Keep the sales floor clean; which includes sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, and trash removal Give accurate helpful information to guests Discuss concerns only with the manager. Alert manager to shrinkage, guest Qualifications Able to operate a cash register, handle cash accurately, open and close the store with or without assistance Demonstrate a basic understanding of Gift Shop procedures by completing the Gift Shop Training Program Able to function with flexibility and courteous behavior in a high traffic seasonal retail operation Acquire and demonstrate a basic knowledge of product information Able to work with a minimum of supervision. Maintain excellent attendance and punctuality. Take breaks in appropriate area for limited time and use the time clock correctly Physical Requirements include: Able to stand/walk for a minimum eight-hour shift Frequently lift and carry cartons weighing up to 50 pounds Carry boxes/product up and down stairs at most locations several times a day Must be able to bend down or kneel to stock product frequently during a shift We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
