VFS USA provides financing options toc customer to meet their needs for equipment purchase to support and grow their business. The Retail Analyst is a part of a dynamic, fast paced, critical team at VFS, the Retail Credit department. You are actively involved in three dynamic areas within the Retail Credit department that impacts our customers, our lease line business and credit flow: Contract Modification, Lease Line Audits, and assisting in Credit file reviews. For contract modification you will work closely with customers to obtain needed information including updated financial statements, bank statements and other pertinent information. You will compile and prepare information to review contract payment modifications, refinancing options and/or assignment and assumptions, and determine the best options available for a customer. In the process you will have the opportunity to work with various departments within VFS including, Doc/Fund/Book, Collateral administration, Capital Markets, and your counterparts on the Retail Credit Team. For Lease line audits you will work directly with VFS leasing customers to gather and review required documentation including rental agreements, insurance information, and other pertinent information to complete a lease line audit. Providing summary information to a Credit Analyst, Credit Underwriter or Credit Manager for review and approval. Finally, you will have the opportunity to review credit submittals for completeness, help with the Auto Approval process, learn financial statement spreading, and review PayNet and credit bureau information to compile information to assist a Retail Credit Analyst in the review of credit submittals. **What is the job?** You are the face and voice of VFS to our customers both externally and internally. You are part of the Retail Team and support system for our dealer network. You will work directly with both our customers and sales teams to become a trusted advisor. **Daily Focus** You will work directly with customers on contract modification. You will coordinate activities between various department to ensure contract modification is processed timely and correctly. Knowing the positive impact this will have on our customers. You coordinate key audit activities for our leasing customer, and you assist as needed, with credit submittals to prepare them for a Retail Credit Analyst review. **Responsibilities** Ensuring contraction modifications, refinancing and assignment and assumptions are processed accurately and timely. You review lease line audit information and provide a written summary of the findings of the audit for review by a Retail Credit Analyst or Retail Underwriter. As needed, you will asset the Credit Team with credit submittal review, financial statement spreading and other ad-hoc credit activities. In some cases, you will be part of a post-mortem process to provide insights on transactions. These insights will help ensure continuity and provide opportunities for improvement and efficiency. In all cases, you will adhere to The Volvo Way, Code of Conduct, and defined policy requirements. You will continuously look to gain industry knowledge, learn, and support process changes and improvements in the Retail Credit department. **Who are you?** You hold a BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Finance, or another related field. You bring experience in direct customer interaction with knowledge of loan or lease transactions a plus. This experience should come in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. You can easily adapt to various situations and tasks. Able to manage time effectively and are self-paced and guided. You strive to learn and own the processes that impact your daily activities. You are willing raise questions and looking for ways to drive process change. Communication is critical to success in this role, and you bring fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English to the role. The ability to communicate in additional language(s) a plus!
